After months of hounding, JOHN KAY, the founder and lead singer of 60’s Canadian American rock band STEPPENWOLF, finally agreed to chat with me.

He talks about his treacherous escape from war-torn Europe, how he formed the band in Canada and Steppenwolf’s amazing road to success.

John also shares stories about how living the life of the rock star with all the crazy excesses nearly killed him.
