The New Zealand-born Lisa Crawley has fearlessly created art and then just as fearlessly followed that art all over the world. Her new EP New Girl Syndrome is an infectious and stirring song cycle that’s contemplative, probing and unreasonably catchy. Lisa’s a really funny person and her humor is deadpan and sly and it’s a fascinating counterpoint to her emotive and affecting songbook.
