Tuesdays 2pm – 5pm EST Rules Free Radio With Steve Caplan bombshellradio.com
On this week’s Rules Free Radio with Steve Caplan, what often happens this time of year is a lot of year-end releases just in time for Christmas. In the last few weeks, there has been an inordinate number of anniversary and super deluxe edition releases of older albums. They usually include remixes and remasters of the original album, plus demos and early versions, stripped-down versions, and acoustic and live versions. We’ll check out a healthy sprinkling of such releases by The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Green Day, Tears for Fears, and The Who. In addition, The Beatles Anthology 3 has just been released, and we’ll spotlight a few from that collection.
Other new and recent music includes Sister Ray Davies, Ivan Shopov, Carmen Rizzo, Dhani Harrison and New Bulgarian Voices, Snarky Puppy, Aaron Parks, The Charlatans, Cheap Trick, The Gold Needles, Maps, and Thee Headcoats.
Classics and in-betweens by Bobby Fuller, Fanny, Crowded House, The Kinks, Chris Bell, The Doors, Hindu Love Gods, Joni Mitchell, The Band, Christine Ohlman, The Moody Blues, and others.
