Rules Free Radio July 30

On this session of Rules Free Radio with Steve Caplan, we’ve lost a few music greats. The most well-known are British Blues legend John Mayall and Abdul “Duke” Fakir, the last original member of the Motown 60s group, The Four Tops. We’ll hear a special tribute featuring some of their earliest songs. In the last hour, we’ll hear music by the late Jerry Miller. He was a guitarist for the 60s San Francisco Psychedelic band Moby Grape. We’ll end with a tribute to Toumani Diabate, a world-class kora player who worked with several artists including Taj Mahal.
