Patti LaBelle, the Godmother of Soul, rose from a Philadelphia church choir to global superstardom.

Beginning with The Ordettes and later Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles, she became a powerhouse in the girl-group era, eventually transforming into the funk and soul trio Labelle, whose hit “Lady Marmalade” cemented her place in music history.

Launching a solo career in 1977, Patti achieved chart-topping success with songs like “New Attitude,” “Stir It Up,” and the Grammy-winning duet “On My Own.”

Beyond music, she has thrived as an actress, author, and entrepreneur, while advocating for health and social causes.

Today, Patti continues to inspire with her new album 8065, worldwide tours (including an imminent visit to Australia), and unmatched energy, proving that age is no barrier to creativity, impact, and soulful performance.
