Hi there – I’m Sandy Kaye, and I’m so glad you stopped by. After more than 35 years on both sides of the microphone – in radio, on TV, producing, presenting, and even making history as Sydney’s very first female radio newsreader – I’ve found my true passion in A Breath of Fresh Air.
This show is my love letter to music – especially the songs of the 60s, 70s, and 80s that shaped our lives and still soundtrack our memories. Each week, I sit down for heartfelt, fireside-style conversations with the legends who made the music. You’ll hear stories behind the songs, tales from the road, and reflections on where life has taken them since the spotlight faded (or burned brighter than ever).
