Rules Free Radio May 5

On this week’s Rules Free Radio with Steve Caplan, we’ll hear new and recent music by The Rallies, The Greenberry Woods, Penny Arcade, Snail Mail, Claypool Lennon Delirium, The Milk Carton Kids, The Reds, Pinks & Purples, White Fence, and a few more. In the bottom of the second hour, we’ll remember British Folk singer-songwriter, Beverley Martyn. She was married to John Martyn and was close friends with Nick Drake and Paul Simon, among others. We’ll hear songs associated with all of them, and some of her solo work. In the third hour, we’ll play a couple of tunes in memory of Irish singer and member of Clannad, Moya Brennan, who also passed away a few days ago. We’ll wrap up with a few new releases of poetry and recitation over a little Jazz. So, another diverse show.
