Stereo Embers The Podcast 0523: Paula Fong

“A Bird On The Wing”

Paula Fong is a revelation. The L.A. singer/songwriter’s new album A Bird On The Wing is a stunning debut that announces the arrival of a major talent. The eleven song effort is filled with bluegrass, gospel, indie folk and Americana and Fong embodies each composition with the poise of a veteran and the grace of a poet. Filled with gorgeous ballads, upbeat rootsy stomp and folk-tinged introspection, A Bird On The Wing is laced with unreasonable musical finesse.
Paula is very busy, directing an Americana music service at Rolling Hills United Methodist and she tours nationally Abby Posner and the Big Fall. A lovely person with a compelling back story that you’re about to hear, Paula Fong is a joy.
