On this week’s Rules Free Radio with Steve Caplan, we’ll hear new and recent music, including several 2025 releases by The Corner Laughers, Weather Station, The Jack Rubies, Juliana Hatfield, The Autumn Defense, Ronnie D’Addario, Michael Wolff, Madison Cunningham, and a few more.

We’ll hear a lot of classics and in-betweens, including Janiva Magness, American Suitcase, R.E.M., Mark and The Clouds, The Byrds, Jimi Hendrix, The Minus 5, Buffalo Springfield, M. Ward, Continental Drifters, Sault, Graham Gouldman, Herman’s Hermits, Sarah Jarosz, and a bunch more.

In the second hour, we’ll hear some versions of songs you know, as done by a bunch of different Spanish 60s Rock bands.

In the third hour, we’ll check out a couple of tracks from the brand new debut by West African artist Mon Rovia, who blends his traditional music with Appalachian influences. And at the bottom of the hour, we’ll do an album spotlight on a forthcoming album by a fine Danish pianist, Soren Bebe, and his trio.
