radio broadcaster, public speaker, and event emcee, who has been part of the

music landscape in Canada’s capital, Ottawa, for over 20 years. She can be heard

on 2 radio stations (CHUO FM/CKCU FM); she has a column in Ottawa Life

Magazine, and she has interviewed everyone from Carole Pope and Orville Peck, to

Our Lady Peace and Serena Ryder. She is a massive supporter of emerging

musical talent, and is director of several music-oriented boards.

On this episode, she tells us why Patti Smith, Debbie Harry, and Joan Jett are the

essence of cool.
