On the next Rules Free Radio with Steve Caplan, we’ll hear new offerings by Brian Eno, The Claudettes, Winter, The Reds, Pinks and Purples, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Skullcrusher, and Mightmare. We’ll hear a bunch of classics including Lou Reed, Nick Drake, Tracy Chapman, John Martyn, Bruce Hornsby, Simon & Garfunkel, and others. We’re going to start with a tribute to the late Robert Gordon who just passed away. If you aren’t familiar with him, he’s almost single-handedly responsible for launching a Rockabilly revival that started in the late 70s. He’s collaborated with some of the greatest guitarists of all time including Link Wray and guitar master Danny Gatton who, like Robert Gordon, was from Washington DC.
